III. What Personal Data do we collect, what is the purpose, period and legal basis for its processing?
1. Visits to the Website
We use cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the Website, analyze activity and, after obtaining consent, personalize content and conduct marketing activities, including with partners.
The basis for the use of cookies is, as a rule, your consent.
The basis for processing data obtained from cookies may be our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) – e.g., ensuring the quality of content or our own or our partners’ marketing; when partners have direct access to data, the basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).
We process data based on consent until it is withdrawn; data based on legitimate interest – until an effective objection is raised, with the reservations indicated in the Policy.
We process cookies necessary for the operation of the Website based on the necessity to perform a contract for the provision of electronic services (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
2. Training

3. Messages from Softinet
We send newsletters and other marketing messages only with your consent. We may also process data for the purpose of pursuing or defending claims.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of ours or I know IT (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) and your consent to communication.
Period: for the duration of marketing activities or until effective objection; longer if this results from the limitation periods for claims.
4. Contacting us
We process data necessary for communication (e.g., email, IP, contact metadata, correspondence content) in order to respond, improve service quality, marketing, and conclude/perform a contract.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest), and where communication is aimed at concluding or concerns the performance of a contract – Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
Data may also be processed for the purpose of pursuing claims – Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

When you download materials or register for events, we may ask you to provide your details. The basis for processing is our legitimate interest (own marketing) and, alternatively, the performance of a contract if you choose paid access.

Access is limited to entities supporting the operation of the Website and communication (IT, marketing tools, advisors, payments, carriers, accounting, event technology partners, affiliated entities – including I know IT) – to the extent necessary to provide services.
